Imperial Tuscan Style Columns

Collection of 9 Feet 10 inch diameter at the bottom of the Stylus or Shaft. Tuscan Smooth Columns are complete with capitals and bases. The Tuscan Order of Columns is the simplest of the classical styles. The bases are denoted by a round torus and square plinth. Imperial Productions® offers Tuscan columns with Tapered or Non-Tapered shafts (ie stylus). Most tapered shafts have the correct entasis (ie Taper ends 2/3rds down the stylus from the top of the shaft with the last third being straight. Models include load bearing or decorative. Specify whole or Split for Post Wrap or Pilaster applications. Materials made from molds include composite FRP-PolyCompTM, GRG-NeoPlasterTM, Fiberglass, ArchPolymerTM and GFRC-ZeamentTM. Custom Hardwoods are made to a maximum of 36" diameter 3 to 24 Feet high in 24 hardwood species to any specified size.

IPTUS0910S is a 9 Feet High FRP-PolyCompTM Tuscan Column Tapered meaning the (top of the shaft 7-1/2") is smaller than the (bottom diameter of the shaft 9-5/8"). By convention the taper ends 1/3rd from the shaft bottom. The capital and base are hollow with the load bearing shaft sitting on the level substrate. All loads must be centered on the shaft. The astragal is integrated in the column. Customize by optional factory cuts. Specify Split for Pilaster up against a wall, Split for Post wrap, Wedged for an outside corners, Section cut for Wall Wraps - specify the size, Quartered for inside corners, or Engaged for portion cuts for Pilaster applications. For post wrap, it wraps a (6-1/8" Round Post) or a (4-1/2" square post). This column can be ordered FactoryPainted or components can be RealMetalCoated, or FireRated. IPTUS0910SNT is a 9 Feet High 9-3/4" Diameter FRP-PolyCompTM Tuscan Column Non-Tapered meaning the top of the shaft is the same diameter as the bottom of the shaft. The capital and base are hollow with the load bearing shaft sitting on the level substrate. All loads must be centered on the shaft. The astragal is a separate component placed by others. Customize by optional factory cuts. Specify Split for Pilaster up against a wall, Split for Post wrap, Wedged for an outside corners, Section cut for Wall Wraps - specify the size, Quartered for inside corners, or Engaged for portion cuts for Pilaster applications. It can wrap a (7" Round Post) or a (5-1/2" x 5-1/2" Square Post). This column can be ordered FactoryPainted or components can be RealMetalCoated, or FireRated. Tuscan columns can be manufactured with specific variations of Height, Diameter, and Split Columns for pilasters, post wraps, outside corners, inside corners, and wall wraps applications. There are variations for Tuscan Tapered and Non-Tapered styling. Hardwoods offer the greatest flexibility of micro size specifications.
